As part of MOM-n-PA’s mission, which is to provide free dental services to underprivileged people all over Pennsylvania, the team has once again launched a large-scale dental mission in Allentown last September 12th and 13th, 2014. With the help of hundreds of volunteers and highly-reputable doctors who participated in the event, the program became a huge success.
Dr. Strober had the privilege to participate in the event. He made his dental services available for the MOM-n-PA dental mission and the thousands of individuals in need of dental monitoring and treatment. The event has garnered donated services totaling to around 1 million dollars. In fact, with all forces in the dental field combined, the event has successfully provided dental care and services to over 2000 patients in just two days.
With the unified effort of the organizers, which include Dr. William Spruill of
Carlisle, PA, professional dentists, and volunteers, underserved Pennsylvanians have received proper dental care and appropriate dental relief. Even those who are from working families yet do not have any access to affordable dental insurance have benefited from the organization’s mission.
The event was well-organized and properly planned. Dental treatments and services were provided on a first-come, first served basis. Even then, it was a smooth-sailing process as many patients came early to have themselves checked as soon as possible.
Dr. Strober appreciates all the effort that everyone has put in the dental mission. Volunteers and professionals who provided their services and expertise for free are unsung heroes that need all the appreciation and gratitude they can get. He was fortunate to witness this overwhelming fusion of compassion and service.
