Dr. Michael Hart runs Autism Dinner through Rotary

Dr. Michael Hart was chairman of a charity dinner/dance to raise funds for Autism. Dr Hart is a Past District Governor of the Rotary 7510 District, encompassing 5 counties in central New Jersey. The Rotary District sponsored this dinner to help five institutions which provide services to children with Autism. Autism is more prevalent in New Jersey than any other State in the United States, but on the other hand, NJ has the best facilities for dealing with the condition. Families who have children with Autism move here for the outstanding schools.The dinner was a sell out success, and raised $15,000 profit. The funds went to the Spring Run School in Hunterdon County, The Eden Institute in Mercer County, Douglass Developmental Center of Rutgers University in Middlesex County,The Midland School in Somerset County, and The Children’s Specialized Hospital in Union County. The dinner was held in May 2014. Rotary International is a Service Organization with 1.2 million business men and women members worldwide. Dr Hart has been a Rotarian for over 30 years.
